Hints of luster still cling to the protected areas around the devices. With light, even, golden yellow patina, this is an appealing survivor from a mintage of 72,574 pieces that would do equally well in a mintmarked type set or a specialized Southern gold cabinet.From our (Stacks) sale of November 2004, lot 824.
