1947 Lincoln Cent. MS-67 RD (PCGS).,Splendid rose-orange surfaces are exceptionally well preserved for this otherwise readily obtainable issue. Satiny in texture with an overall smooth appearance. With a generous mintage of 190,555,000 pieces, the 1947 is an understandably plentiful issue in lower grades. Due to the prevalence of spotting and discoloration among Mint State survivors, however, Superb Gems such as this are surprisingly elusive. A find for the advanced collector specializing in this popular small cent series.,From the ESM Collection.,
