Jahangirnagar 40Dacca, not Dhaka in Bangladesh41 was brought under British control the same time as Patna 408 Rabi39 II 117941, and produced coins under British control with the name Jahangirnagar AH1179-1183, thereafter with the mint name Murshidabad 1183-1185, but not distinguishable from those struck at Calcutta. Only the nazarana rupee was known to Pridmore, and all are of the greatest rarity. None have appeared in recent auctions filed on CoinArchives.
