A coin collected more for its technical appeal-the late stage (Die State 4) of the obverse struck on the small planchet stock seen on all later die stage specimens-than for its aesthetic appeal. The failing obverse die is a sight to behold, with large die breaks flanking the horse and a large break noted to the left of the date.
