Dark brown and worn smooth at the high points, leaving behind a uniform porosity in the fields on both obverse and reverse. The obverse is centered towards the 9 oclock position, pulling an arc of dentils into view from 12 oclock to 5 oclock, with similar centering and effect on the reverse.
