PMG About Uncirculated 50.，Listed as Uncirculated in the national bank note census, this $100 brown back is freshly back from PMG in what appears to be a very conservative 50. No folds or other paper issues can be seen through the holder. High denomination brown backs are rare in any grade. There are only nine AU examples listed in the census and two of those are in museums. What makes this note even more appealing is the fact that it is not from a big city bank or a run. There is just one other $100 brown back on the charter and it is listed as VG/F. The same note we are offering here last sold for $3,520 in 1991. That price has of course significantly appreciated in the last 26 years. There never seems to be enough pretty type nationals like this to go around; expect some competition to bring this one home.
