Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. $5 1902 Plain Back. Fr. 609. The Camp Hill NB. Charter #12380. Extremely Fine.,A lovely serial number 1 example from this sole issuing bank in this small Cumberland County community. After opening its doors in 1923, more than $500,000 was issued by this bank, but in 1935, just $1,150 remained outstanding in large size notes. This note was previously unknown and is now just one of 11 notes reported and the sole number 1 for both large and small issues. The note appears to have never seen real circulation and was most likely folded and stored for many years. Excellent signatures and paper originality are just some of the positive characteristics of this beauty.
