Further adorned with vivid rose and orange-gold patina, this coin is sure to have no difficulty finding its way into an advanced collection of 20th century U.S. Mint gold coinage.<p>Introduced in 1908 alongside the artists similarly styled Indian half eagle, Bela Lyon Pratts Indian quarter eagle was innovative with its recessed design. There are only 15 circulation strike issues in the Indian quarter eagle series, and most are readily obtainable in todays market, especially in lower Mint State grades.
