Naser al-Din Shah, who was assassinated In 1896, ruled for 48 years, and was still popular in the 1920s. He had been on all Imperial Bank notes previously and was evidently deemed to be acceptable still. Bradbury printed almost this exact design, with the only discernable changes being in the underprint.some small faded patches and knocks to the edges but excellent image quality (2)
