HONDURAS. Pattern 8 Pesos Struck in Bronze, 1862-TA. NGC PROOF-65 BN.KM-Pn4. Rosettes flank date. Single finest graded at either NGC or PCGS. Struck in England and quite similar to the adopted design with only minor changes to the stops in the legends being rosettes rather than dots. Sharply struck as would be expected with lovely smooth glossy milk chocolate patina and as such quite attractive. An excellent example with a fabulous provenance.
