PMG Very Fine 30.A highly welcomed addition to a previous six known Brown Back statehood notes with this bright mid-grade example fitting in nicely with the other known conditions. Two highly rare and coveted Territorial notes are known from this charter as well with both being 1882 Five Dollar brown backs. There has not been an offering of a higher grade example of this type on the charter since a 2006 offering where another Five Dollar brown back brought $14,950 in an Extremely Fine grade. Certainly this note will be met with strong interest from west coast collectors.
