This $20 is the loan Red Seal and only Territorial known on this scarce Johnston county bank. The bank opened its doors in April of 1904 and issued just 1000 Red Seal sheets. The bank than became a state hood when it began to continue to issue 1902 Date Back series notes. It continued to issue notes until the end of the National Bank Note era until 1935. The note has seen some strong circulation but is completely original, free from any repairs and still retains amazing signatures of the banks officers.
