Each with an authorized mintage of only 2,500 pieces as individuals, but according to Spink the 50 Pounds has a mintage of only 2,486 pieces and the 100 pounds a mintage of only 2,485 pieces. Each their cases of issue with certificates of authenticity serial # 946 for the 50 Pounds and # 1241 for the 100 Pounds. Both are sharply struck as would be expected being Royal mint products with hard flashy proof surfaces and stark contrast to the frosted devices.
