1894-O Barber Dime. MS-64 (PCGS).;Significant Choice Uncirculated quality for this underappreciated key date issue. Satiny in texture with a universally sharp strike, both sides also offer light peripheral toning in olive-gray and pale gold. After only the 1895-O, the 1894-O is the rarest Barber dime in terms of total number of Mint State coins extant. This is a particularly fortunate survivor from a mintage of just 720,000 pieces, the vast majority of which entered circulation at the time of issue and remained there until worn out or lost.
