1850 Moffat & Co. $5. K-7a. Rarity-4. Large Eagle. EF Details--Bent (NCS).;Predominantly light gold surfaces are enhanced by blushes of coppery-rose tinting in isolated peripheral areas. Softly defined at some of the central high points, yet suitably bold in overall detail for both the issue and the assigned grade. The stated qualifier is not readily evident through the NCS holder, although more noticeable is a glossy texture that points to a cleaning. Given the scarcity of all Moffat & Co. five-dollar varieties, this more affordable example of the 1850 K-7a dies is sure to find many interested bidders among budget minded territorial gold enthusiasts.;
