CAC.；<strong>Obv:</strong> Similar to the design of the regular issue 1882 nickel, but modified to omit the ornamental ball at the base of the shield. <strong>Rev:</strong> The same design that the Mint used to strike regular issue 1882 Shield nickels. Brilliant apart from delicate pale pink highlights, this fully impressed, nicely cameoed example makes a lovely impression in all regards. This is a highly elusive pattern in all metallic compositions, nickel specimens, as here, with an extant population of only a dozen or so coins. This beautiful Gem will appeal to pattern specialists as well as advanced Shield nickel enthusiasts.；
