1871 Liberty Seated Silver Dollar. Proof-64 (PCGS).;Minimally toned in pale golden-apricot iridescence, the obverse exhibits enough field to device contrast to evoke thoughts of a Cameo designation. The reverse, on the other hand, is more reserved beneath a veil of sandy-silver patina. One of 960 Proof silver dollars struck in 1871, survivors of which enjoy equally strong demand for specimen type and date purposes.;
