Approximately 575 pieces in lot. A massive offering of the majority of the non-gold coinage issued in Hungary since the establishment of the first republic in 1946. Both circulation and commemorative issues are included as well BU and Proof versions of the same types and includes a few Pieforts for the 1979 and 1980 pieces. Most of the circulation coinage from the 70s, 80s and 90s are presented in mint sets and are still in their packaging of issue and as such are wholly uncirculated, in addition many of the newest coins are accompanied by their certificates of authenticity. The pieces from the 1940s are the only ones in the entire offering to show any actual wear. The only issues of note are some light haze on some of the proof pieces. A fantastic assemblage which is an excellent way to complete or even start a collection of 20th century Hungarian in one fell swoop. Retail value of about $3,000.
