清代同治通宝阿克苏 上美品。QING: Tong Zhi, 1862-1874, AE charm (6.91g), Aksu mint, Xinjiang Province, Hua Guangpu p.1756 (derived from H-22.1223, but without denomination), aksu in Manchu left, aqsu in Uyghur right, VF to EF, RRR. Although Hua Guangpu states this was cast at the akèsu jú (Aksu Bureau), it is unlikely it was produced there. The similarity of this type and others with various mint names cast in the same style would indicate they were cast at one central mint, perhaps somewhat officially, likely during the reign of Guang Xu, 1875-1908.
