Another toned gem from Foxfire.A very different but similarly gem coin, compared to the other D. Brent Pogue Collection example of this variety. The cartwheel luster is strong on both sides, enhancing the central brilliance and the radial golden toning that changes to violet and blue before it reaches the rims. The die state shows the same breaks, in slightly earlier form.A very pretty coin and a finely preserved example of the date, one that was graded MS-68 by NGC when acquired from the Foxfire Collection.
