Struck in impressive relief, this always-popular double taler exhibits strong reflective fields and designs that hold soft frost which produces a delicate cameo affect. Some light hairlines determine the grade, however the surfaces are very nicely preserved overall, with almost no instances of hard contact seen.<p><em>Struck to commemorate the completion of the South Austrian Railway, a network of rail over 350 miles long that connected Vienna and the present-day Italian city of Trieste, which served as a major seaport of Austria-Hungary.</em>
