Obverse: Head of Hera facing slightly right, wearing stephane decorated with palmettes; Reverse: Herakles Epitrapezios: young Herakles, nude, holding cup and cradling club, reclining left on lion skin draped over rock; B above arm, bow below. Despite the noted light distractions, this example is of fine style, with the facing head on the obverse a clear indication of that. Deeply toned and highly impressive artistically.
