With its superlative luster and refined details this Choice treasure is by far the best of the two coins of the type (1708 and 1709) in private ownership so far recorded.<p><em>Friedberg, Krause, Hede, and Sieg all describe this elegant Double Ducat with an alternating pattern of crowned arms and monograms to be Unique, but a second piece is in the Danish National Museum.</em>From the L.
