Simple end panels typical of the period at left and right. The leftmost panel is emblazoned "TEN" opposite its counterpart at right which carries the words "INCORPORATED BY CONGRESS" and speaks to the circumstance behind the formation of this bank. This Proof is quite possible unique for the design per the <em>Whitman Encyclopedia of Obsolete Paper Money Vol. 8.</em> which mentions that only a single impression for this denomination was offered in the 1990 ABNCo sale conducted by Christies.
