Compared to its surviving peers; this note firmly falls outside the realm of circulated grades and offers a distinct contrast compared to a bevy of recent offerings from the 1779 emission. The engraved portion of the design specifically the face impression which was printed from a face plate engraved by Paul Revere offers a sight defined by detail and eye appeal and is further accompanied by the handsome penned signature of Jonathan Brown seen below the obligation. Far superior to the last example of this specific emission and denomination that we sold in September 2022 that realized $552 once bidding had ended and unlikely ever to be matched by any of its surviving peers.
