A popular seriesas a result of the Unicorn theme with obverse-reverse juxtapositionbetween the illustrated Eastern and Western styles beingwonderfully charming. The penultimate date in the series, thepresent specimen remains wonderfully preserved with deep frost onthe central devices and legends and wide rims that attractivelyframe the design. Research yields the two most recent auctionappearances of this type came in September of 2012 - both examplesbringing approximately $52,000. Given the scant mintage, and therelatively infrequent appearance of examples on the market, we canonly anticipate a similarly strong response to this beautifullow-mintage rarity.
