Tears, Pieces Missing.The Zimmerman Bank, founded in 1854, had its circulating banknotes abruptly redeemed following the death of Samuel Zimmerman. In 1859, the bank changed its name to the Bank of Clifton. This $10 note is the second-highest denomination issued by the Zimmerman Bank.
