拍品描述： 新疆足银壹钱。兰州兵工厂造币厂。(t) CHINA. Sinkiang. Mace (Miscal), ND (ca. 1878-80). Lanchou Arsenal Mint. Kuang-hsu (Guangxu). NGC AU-58.珍罕度：★★★★。此枚足银壹钱仿照方孔制钱而铸，设计简洁古朴，正面以汉字标明面值及材质，背面则见回文。存世极罕的版别，近数十年仅有寥寥数枚面世。虽未记载造币厂，但经考证，极有可能是位于吉林的兰州造币厂。据信此币乃左宗棠将军为支付军饷而铸，用于平定新疆，讨伐阿古柏。意义重大的一枚，弥足珍贵，或是新彊最早的机制币之一。我们上次呈献此版已是2010年黄华枢旧藏专场，该枚获评NGC AU-55，后于2014年以42,000瑞士法郎落槌。

L&M-808; K-1000 = KM; WS-1160; Wenchao-250 (rarity: ★★★★); SGSC-Unlisted. A great <strong>RARITY</strong>, <em>of which just a few examples have traded over the past few decades</em>, this silver cash-style issue displays a fairly spartan design, with its denomination and metal indicated by the Chinese characters on the obverse and the Turki script on the reverse. Though a mint is unlisted, research has indicated that the Arsenal at Lanchou in Kirin likely served as the production facility. It is believed that General Tso Tsung-tang ordered this emission in order to pay his soldiers during their regional campaign against the rebel Yakub Beg. A very impressive and important coin, as it likely serves as one of the earliest machine-struck coins for the area. The first of this type that we have offered since 2010--<em>an NGC AU-55 from the Wa She Wong Collection that later sold in 2014 for ChF 42,000 hammer</em>.
