Variety with large mintmark and solid dragons eyes. The first example of the type that we have offered, this slightly circulated specimen remains rather alluring and wholesome, sporting some darker hues throughout--an aspect that allows the design facets to stand out quite boldly. Presenting the mintmark in relief and without a surrounding disk, it emanates from the slightly <strong>SCARCER</strong> of the two <strong>EXTREMELY RARE</strong> types--the other featuring the mintmark somewhat small in nature. An example of this latter type, <em>a PCGS EF-45 from the Q. David Bowers/R. B. White Collection</em>, realized a total of $24,000 in our April 2018 Hong Kong Auction (Lot # 40168).
