Variety with dragons eyes incuse. An enticing and enchanting crown, this specimen is VERY RARE when encountered in such an elevated, elite level of preservation, as is the case here. The surfaces are highly brilliant and largely untoned, with just some subtle burnished hues nearer the peripheries. The strike is pleasing and even throughout, with particular refinement found within the English letters. No doubt a lofty representative of this early emission, and one for which the resounding quality would be difficult to surpass.
