CUBA, Trinidad/Santiago/Principe, 2 reales, lattice countermark (1841) on a Seville, Spain, bust 2 reales, Ferdinand VII, 1833 JB, NGC VF details / cleaned, c/s VF strong. KM-6. A really nice example of this popular Caribbean type with a choice, full countermark struck squarely over Ferdinand VIIs bust. Some thin cleaning hairlines are not readily apparent under the rich golden toning on both sides which also possess a degree of original luster.
