COSTA RICA, stainless steel 2 colones, (1982-84), reverse half of two planchets struck together, NGC Mint Error UNC details / excessive surface hairlines. KM-211.1. Very unusual error with the reverse of a 2 colones struck circa 1982-84 on one side while the opposite side is blank with a faint impression of the reverse to a different 2 colones imparted when a finished coin failed to be removed from the dies before a second planchet (this coin) was inserted and struck. Very lustrous with many hairlines on the struck side.
