大清光绪叁拾贰年江苏裕苏官银钱局通用钞票壹圆。苏州地名。编号76386。绿色印刷于粉红，四边均见龙图，陈夔龙(1857-1948)肖像，1906-1907年间任职江苏巡抚。反面绿色，牡丹环绕边框，上方中央可见两龙相对，龙珠居中，有若干红色盖章。极为罕见的一张，我们首次上拍。PMG评级中仅此一张，不见其他拍卖记录。均匀流通，原厂墨色，全无瑕疵。此次登场后，应要等待多年才会重现。此著名集藏中当之无愧的明星拍品。

Green on pink, dragons on all four borders, vignette of Chen Kuilong (1857-1948), Provincial Governor of Jiangsu from 1906 to 1907, reverse green, peonies around the borders, facing dragons and fireball at upper centre, various red handstamps.<p>An unbelievably rare note offered for the first time by us. The sole example graded by PMG and no recent records of this type being sold elsewhere. An evenly circulated note retaining much of its original colours and free of any problems. It will be a long while before another one becomes available. An incredible star lot in this superb named sale.
