Signed by someone viewed as a minting maestro with respect to the fledgling coinage of Chinas early Republic, this stately pattern issue, bearing Giorgis name above the left shoulder of Yuan Shih-kai, stands as a supremely Choice rendition, and <strong>EXTREMELY RARE</strong> as such. Hues of champagne and olive populate much of the surfaces, with some subtle cobalt and seafoam green spread throughout as well. Meanwhile, shimmering brilliance emanates from the fields, elevating the overall appearance that much more. Only a few scattered marks surrounding the obverse portrait prevent an even higher designation.
