Blue and black on multicolour, classical bust of male at left, watermark area at right, 50 at each corner, overprinted SPECIMEN WATERLOW & SONS LTD, printed signature of Kennedy at lower right, reverse in similar colours, Chinese style house at centre. An extremely rare colour trial of this instantly recognisable note. The HIGHEST GRADE in the PMG population report with one other note. Lovely vibrant colours are observed throughout the note.
