A most pleasant and appealing example, this wonderful 5 Tael ingot demonstrates a nearly fresh appearance, with a bright white shimmer and some handsome rainbow toning on the deeply incuse punches. The characters are crisp and well formed, and no evidence of actual handling is seen. A piece that will certainly be much contested for by any specialists in Sycee.
