PCGS SPECIMEN-67. 儘管正面设计与普通纪念金币相同，此版的反面截然不同，非常罕见。反面俩捲轴之间有"样帀"两字，颇为简朴，黄铜铸造，显然是马可波罗版的试铸。PCGS评鑑中仅此一枚，足见其极为罕见。现代中国纪念币藏家如若错过此拍品必定扼腕叹息。 cf. KM-80 (for obv. in gold). Though bearing the same obverse as the regular issue commemorative in gold, this particular RARITY instead displays an entirely different, and rather spartan, reverse design, merely featuring the characters 样帀 ("sample") between two scrolls. Struck in brass, it is clear that this was meant as a trial striking for the intended Marco Polo issue. Standing as the only such representative of the type in the PCGS census, it is also clear that this is EXCEEDINGLY RARE and an important opportunity for the advanced collector of the modern Chinese commemorative program.
