While some minor cleaning is observed, this mildly circulated provincial issue remains rather appealing through its olive hues spread throughout. The strike is fairly sharp and clear, with the additional characters identifying the province (肅甘) boldly flanking the bust of Yuan Shih-kai, and making it abundantly obvious that this issue is not part of the vast series of those issued at the larger central mints, but rather from the RARE and popular subset from Kansu.
