NGC MS-61. 日期不变，普通4。短中尾、短云。罕见版别，难得的原厂品相，币面铁灰色为主，不见包浆，两面炫目车轮光。更有趣的是，由于保存状态完好，很容易可以看出，短云原本应更长，合乎此版的典型特徵。于此枚而言，模具断裂令模具需被重新加工，大部分的云彩因此被抹除，我们仅能见到原来云的模糊轮廓。此外，同样的特徵亦出现在长中尾，轮廓仍然依稀可见，不难总结出模具亦是在该处被重新加工。 L&M-465A; cf. A majestic example of the variant that is SCARCELY encountered in grades of Mint State, this largely untoned Dollar presents a steely gray appearance dominated by radiant luster cartwheeling upon each side. Adding even more intrigue is the fact that, owing to its elevated state of preservation , one can easily discern that the short cloud was, in fact, previously longer, as is usually the case. In the instance of this variant, it would seem that a die break in that particular cloud caused the die to be re-worked, with most of the cloud being erased-- though not well enough to obfuscate its slight outline from appearing . In addition, it would seem that the same issue occurred with the long middle tail spine, as its phantom outline is also still faintly visible, leading to the conclusion that the die was re-worked there as well.
