SURINAME. De Surinaamsche Bank. 100 Gulden, ND but handwritten Post 1910. P-63s. Specimen. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. Printers Annotation. Brown and light blue, arms at centre of upper border, 100 at each corner, Bank title, denomination and te Paramaribo at center, reverse plain as issued. The rarity of this type note cannot be overstated with virtually no other notes of any sort seen prior to 1930, and this is not to mention the fact that this would have been the highest denomination with practical general circulation applications. Unsurprisingly, this is the ONLY NOTE graded in the PMG population and is not likely to be outdone, as it is in such a high grade with immaculate paper, corners and colours. A magnificently rare and choice note that has never been presented by us before, and will be a crowning piece in any World Banknote collection, let alone the Dutch Colonial series.
