EVM, lozenge stops, crowned and garnished oval shield dividing E-R, 2.52g [38.9grns], 2h, m.m. swan (Schneider I, -; Stewartby 2; North 1914; Spink 2442) crimped and softly struck to portrait as usual for issue, a trace of die clashing in obverse fields, otherwise pleasingly round on a honey-golden flan, the centres scarcely fair, the peripheries good fine to near very fine, an excessively rare mintmark for issue, the only other specimen residing in the National (BM) collection
