Second semester examples of this overdate variety are unlisted in the 2004 Vlack reference on French billon coinage. The author does list first semester coins as Vlack-19e, however, which attribution has an impressive Rarity-7 rating. Much of the silvering remains to both sides of this piece, which also exhibit sharp striking detail and abundant satin luster.
