Struck over a 1787 Connecticut copper with portions of the legends of the host coin visible on both sides. A bit of the Connecticut date is visible after the last A of CAESAREA as well and Syds envelope states the CT undertype is believed to be a 1787 Miller 37.1-cc.1 variety.
