An interesting and seldom seen fantasy issue in a minor denomination, this specimen exhibits some scattered marks from noted prior cleaning, but nevertheless retains solid detail and offers a pleasing portrait of the penultimate emperor of the Ching (Qing) Dynasty. Compare to a similar piece, a PCGS Unc Details (Cleaned) example, that realized a total of $13,200 in our September 2021 Hong Kong auction (Lot # 21581).
