This nicely preserved and attractive example displays bold sharp characters with much of the naturally rough surface texture intact. The fields exhibit lovely brown patina with minor earthen deposits amongst the devices with a pleasing brassy coloration on the high points. Close inspection reveals plenty of evidence of the finishing process in the rims and high points. This wholesome and original looking example is sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
