This charming and interesting issue displays a pleasing pale gold coloration with a slight iridescent sheen and neatly impressed calligraphy. The surfaces do show signs of handling with minor earthen deposits in the crevasses adding its originality. Though portions of the rim have been flattened and the fields are somewhat wavy mentioned for accuracy. Despite its shortcomings a handsome example that is sure to excite even the most advanced of collectors.<em>It is interesting to note that the Chinese pronunciation is a transliteration of the Sanskrit name of Amitabha Buddha. Amita (E Mi Tuo) means Boundless (Wu Liang) and Fo is the Chinese word of Buddha. An important mantra in Amitabha is the Pure Land Rebirth Mantra or Dharani in Pure Land Buddhism. In Chinese its full name is Wang Sheng Jing Tu Shen Zhou. It is believed that reciting this mantra will grant a peaceful and joyful life and allow them to be reborn into the Amitabhas buddha-field of Ultimate Bliss.</em>
