A piece that is nearly without rival, this simply amazing Choice early Szechuan-Tibet Rupee delivers an impressive bloom of mint luster and crisply applied details. Limited and light golden toning serves to add a touch of charm and character to the surfaces, breaking up the argent brilliance. Very limited friction and marking is seen, and nearly all other examples of this type fade into darkness when compared to this specimen, and for that reason we would expect strong and spirited bidding for this specimen.From the C.H.
