PCGS Banknote Gem Uncirculated 65 PPQ.A gem replacement $5 North Africa note displaying outstanding original paper wave, vivid blue overprint and good centering. Star notes in the top grades are particularly elusive. This note realized $2,520 in our August 2018 ANA Sale. More recently, a very similar note (from the same sheet, one serial number lower) also graded 65 PPQ by PCGS brought $3,600 in our November 2022 sale.
