PMG Choice Very Fine 35.While there are some 63 examples of Fr. 965 shown on the current Census, only three are star notes, and all grade VF 25 or lower. This Choice VF 35 is a new addition, and is easily the finest star note for this 1914 Boston $20 Blue Seal FRN. While it displays light to moderate evidence of use, the paper retains considerable brightness and the blue embossed serial numbers and seal remain strong.
