The obverse is a bit soft around the periphery, where some of the stars are faint, but Libertys portrait is well outlined with some bolder detail remaining. Our offerings for this issue have been few and far between over the years, and with good reason. The 1875-S is a heavily circulated half eagle issue with a mintage of just 9,000 coins.
